The dynamic calligraphy of this artwork expresses the word "Impermanence" - “Mujo” in Japanese. Impermanence is an unique characteristic of the traditional Japanese mentality and one of the essential doctrines of Buddhism which asserts the idea that all things, tangible or intangible, are in a continuous change of condition, subject to decline and destruction.
In this original piece, the word Mujo is highlighted and floating in the space of deep shades of ocean blue with striking abstract accents in gold.
